We are seeking holistic solutions to tackle pain and enhance bone, muscle and joint health and strength that can empower independence in aging populations.

Background

Many elderly individuals wish to maintain their independence, but pain from joint degeneration and circulation issues can negatively impact this outcome.

We are interested in solutions that address recovery, repair, and maintenance and focus on tackling both physical and emotional well-being associated with restricted mobility and pain.

We are specifically interested in solutions which consider the differing needs of this population and how solutions can support their goals, e.g. maintaining independence, differing safety profiles, product design and access, typical drug to drug interactions and other health conditions.

Key Success Criteria

Must-have requirements

• Medicated and non-medicated solutions (including topical) for systemic treatment of pain relief and mobility solutions
• Solid scientific evidence for pain relief
• Proposed regulatory pathway for market access

Preferred Requirements

• Bio-efficacy proven placebo controlled
• Sustainability considerations

Approaches not of interest

• Healthcare solutions not viable for over the counter or consumer selfcare.
• Pure lifestyle management and wellness focused.
